11 Essential Things You Need in Your Bathroom

A wastebasket is an essential element of the bathroom. Put it beside your toilet or sink to throw tissues and feminine products. Moreover, there is no need to buy a large trash can, a small wastebasket is more than enough as you may not throw a lot of trash in your bathroom. 

Tip: Add a waste disposal bag or trash can liner inside the basket so that it doesn’t get gross, also make it easy for you to empty the trash.

• Hand Wash/Soap

• Shower Curtain 

A shower curtain is a must unless you have glass doors to cover your bathtub or shower area. They come in every color, pattern, and texture. To manage the beautiful and elegant curtains in your budget, you may check simple and cheap curtains online and turn them into some DIY curtain art.

• Non-skid Bath Mat 

You obviously don’t want to slip on the wet floor and break your leg, buying a non-skid absorbent mat should be your first priority!

• Showerhead

While changing a lot of things in the bathroom, you’ve probably thought of your showerhead. It’s better to invest a little money and make your bathroom more functional. • Bath Towels 

Bath towels are commonly used for drying off after a shower or bath. The size and texture of bath towels make them absorbent and soft, but not overly heavy that’s why it is ideal for drying both hair and body. Invest in a set of good quality, durable bath sheets or bath towels. Also, buy a towel stand or a wall hook to hang your towel near the shower. 

• Toothbrush Holder

There is no reason to lay your toothbrush flat on the sink and allow germs to make it their bed. Buy an inexpensive toothbrush holder, if your bathroom doesn’t have it with the whole sanitary kit. 

• Extra Toilet Paper & Holder

When you realize that you don’t have any toilet paper near you in the bathroom, that is definitely the most horrible situation. Stock up toilet paper by buying in bulk. Also to store toilet paper, there are many varieties such as baskets, wall-mounted paper dispensers, or a free-standing paper hanger. 

• Toilet Brush and Container

Get a toilet brush along with a stand or container and place it behind or beside your toilet or any place you would like. 

Tip: After cleaning your toilet, wash the toilet brush thoroughly and spray it with hydrogen peroxide to disinfect. Also, leave it for a few minutes to drip dry before placing it in the container or holder.

• Cleaning Supplies

Cleaning Supplies are the top essentials of bathroom checklists. It includes toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant wipes, glass cleaner, tub and tile cleaner, and lastly a room freshener.
