We had a total kitchen and dining room remodel. We choose Alure because of their good reputation. Rich Reese assisted us with coordinating colors. He spent hours at our home measuring and designing our kitchen and dining room. As promised he sent us an email with a panoramic preview. We were able to see the finished product before they even got started. Throughout the process, which they made very simple, all the gentlemen that came to our house were very professional and courteous. When all was done, it was exactly the same as the preview. The quality was much better than we could have imagined. Rob Weiss even called us after each day to make sure we were happy. Joe Russo ( project manager ) was very helpful and took care of any issues we may have had. We are very happy with our results. which was done in a short time frame as promised. We would highly recommend Alure and hopefully will use them again soon.
We recently hired Alure to remodel a bathroom, kitchen and dining room in our house. This was a large renovation including wall removal and a header being recessed into the ceiling.
To begin with, Liz Clemens helped us design the spaces. She was very knowledgeable and was able to take the ideas we had and turn them into reality and had some great ideas of her own. The rooms came out just as we had envisioned them thanks to her work and design ideas. She was able to utilize the square footage we had to maximize storage and function in a fairly small kitchen and we are very happy with the results.
Mark Donnelly was our project manager and we would strongly recommend him. He gave us a five week timeline before the project started and literally did not miss one date. Per friends and family who have used other contractors that is almost unheard of. We were able to contact him by text or phone with any questions and concerns, and he always got back to us rights away. This is not to say the process did not have any problems - any large construction job will, but any issues that came up - Mark handled quickly and professionally.
Alure is not the least expensive option, but we felt after all was finished it was worth it. The quality of the work has been excellent to date. We would definitely recommend Alure to our friends and use them again on our next home project.
Andy and Jackie had 11 windows replaced in our home. Beginning with the salesperson, Kevin whom was patient and answered all our questions. As it took us quite some time to decide on hiring Alure for this project, we were never pressured by them during this process. Then we met Tim, the production manager whom was respectful, so nice, considerate and thoughtful. Most of all, we gained his confidence because he knows the window business. Tom, the chief installer was all those qualities like Tim, and also knew his craft. Our windows are perfect, everything we expected, and meeting our needs. I would highly recommend this company, and would hire them again for another project.
Have Tom & Jimmy installing our brand new front storm door right now sold to us by Paul, who also sold us our new kitchen door and BACK storm door, also installed by Tom & Jimmy. You will never meet nicer gentlemen who come to your home and give you a sense of well-being and knowing you are in the hands of real professionals.
Everyone you speak with at Alure, like Tim and Patricia for instance, are always courteous and go out of their way to be helpful. Last year we had our bathroom remodeled by Alure and from start to finish evrything ran smoothly.
If you need work done, call Alure!
Sorry it’s taken so long for me to write this review. We started with Alure in the fall, 2011 when we decided to have our bathroom remodeled with a special program. Since then we have had our kitchen remodeled(May, 2012) and recently a new roof. As always, the people from Alure did not disappoint. From the sales people to the project managers to the hands on workers, everyone was excellent. And Kathy is always responsive to any needs, even years after the work is done. Yes they’re not the cheapest number you will get but they are well worth every extra penny you pay. Even Sal is there personally if needed. We will continue to use Alure and recommend them always.
I must compliment your organization.
We had a bathroom reno 3 years ago and whenever something wasn't working it only took a phone call or email to your company and it was handled.
I always recommend Alure to anyone who needs a remodel.
Shout out to Jennifer Stubbmann for her excellent service and follow through.
Thanks for everything!
I am so glad we chose Alure to do our kitchen and bath renovation. They came in on budget, on time and gave us a quality space we love! I would recommend them every time
It has been two months since Allure finished remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. Long enough for my wife and I to find the little flaws that we didn't notice in the excitement of the job being finished. We haven't found any.
the project started with us going to browse in the Allure Showroom. There we met Chris Ann O'Neill and Marc Zeilander. Chris Ann would guide us through the planning of the kitchen, while Marc helped us with the bathroom design. Many hours were spent in both the showroom and our home helping us to make the most of our space. Details were pointed out that we would never have thought of on our own. Suggestions were made but we were never pushed to do anything. If we didn't think the idea worked for us we moved on. The friendliness, courteousness, and professionalism of both Chris Ann and Marc convinced us that Allure was the company we would us for our remodeling jobs.
We were then introduced to our project supervisor Matt Donofrio, he would organize the work being done and keep the job moving forward. Before a workman entered our home he gave us a rough schedule of when each part of the project would start and end. his estimated finish date missed by two days. they finished two days early. As the projects progressed Matt would provide us with updated calendars for the week or two ahead. if we had a question Matt was the guy to go to. While Matt wasn't on site constantly we saw him most days ( including coming in on his day off to deliver materials that were needed to keep the project moving), or we received a call from him everyday to see if we had any questions or concerns. Matt truly went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one.
All of the craftsmen who entered our home deserve our thanks and praise for their skill and professionalism, but I must mention one in particular. on day one of the project a gentleman by the name of Andre Zabielski arrived at 8am and said he would be working in the bathroom.over the next six days this man single handedly gutted and remodeled our bathroom.
We are very happy with the quality of both the work and the people at Allure and highly recommend them for your home improvement projects.
We used Alure recently for our main upstairs bathroom.....they were awesome! Work was done quickly and in a manner that did not disrupt our lives. Bathroom was completed in less than a week, and we couldn't be happier with the results....Would not hesitate to use them again. We highly recommend Alure!!!
When I decided to install, concurrently, a new kitchen and a new bathroom, I selected Alure to do the job because although it wasn’t the least expensive candidate, I was impressed by the fact that the company had been in existence since 1946 and that it was highly rated by the Better Business Bureau, among others. I am not disappointed with the results and would certainly recommend Alure to others. Before they were even started, my projects presented a set of hurdles: I live in a co-op building with stiff house rules, and, of course, my town has a number of preconditions which every contractor must abide by before permits are issued So, kudos to the deft work of Patricia Tallini, who expeditiously secured the necessary construction approvals so that the projects could proceed as scheduled. Even before I signed the paperwork, the first person I met with was Gregory Griffin, the designer/salesman. Greg came to my home, spoke with me, and proceeded to create designs that were to transform my cramped, ugly rooms into spaces that are both beautiful and functional. And at the projects’ completion, Greg also gave me some advice on how to paint the rooms. The day-to-day work behind this transformation was overseen by project manager Joe Russo, a patient man who never lost his cool. It was Joe who stopped by every day to monitor the progress of the gut renovations and to deal with the various issues that would inevitably arise. The entire project was overseen by Rob Weiss, who called at the end of each day to check to see if I was satisfied with the way things were going. I should also mention that before they left at the end of each day, the craftsmen made sure to tidy up. And a special shout-out to the plumbers, who fixed the low water pressure that I had lived with for years. I certainly appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of the entire Alure team.
