Designer: James Garofalo
Designer Bio: James Garofalo
My name is James Garofalo, I was born and raised on Long Island. Growing up a die hard Yankee fan, I ironically choose to go to college in Quincy, Massachusetts right outside of Boston. I love NY and would love to give back to my community through what I do here at Alure. Giving people 110% of me while giving them the best product. I have worked in many different industries whether it was coaching, advertisement, dental and medical sales, or home improvement contracting. My passion for home design and dedication to help people get their dream home is my motivation as my career continues to grow. Learning everything the right way from the ground up through Alure has really developed my skills to consult my customers in the best and secure ways possible. I love teaching and educating my customers on how much they can benefit from what we offer. I enjoy working with the customer on their side of the table while we problem solve to create their dream home. Being personable and building connections allows them to know they are taken care of, while making those tough decisions comfortable and easy.
3 favorite things:
1. Family & Friends – James enjoys quality time and laughs with his family and new additions of his fiancé’s family.
2. Music – He likes to listen to great music – all types from all generations.
3. Being Active – You will usually catch James in either a beach volleyball league, playing softball, or basketball.

My favorite project is for this awesome young couple in Massapequa who I just hit it off with. This is their first home together after just being married for a few months. We took their drab white house and completely renewed the curb appeal by adding CertainTeed Monogram flagstone siding with some darker shutters to give it a pop. I helped create their forever home which is something I’ll always remember. It feels great to create opportunities for people to make new memories in their new homes. This is why I love what I do.
