We lost our 116×52 living room window along with some soffits, fascia & capping due to storm “Sandy”. Who do you contact? Friends of ours had Alure remodel their bathroom a few years back. They were very satisfied and I was very impressed with the beautiful results.
I met with Vincent Maddaloni, exterior designer, on 11/7/2012. He assessed the damage & explained the process of the project & addressed all our concerns. Due to the shattered window, within the hour after Vincent left, a team from Alure was @ our home to secure the front window & protect our home from further damage until a new window could be installed. John & his team did an excellent job replacing the damaged soffits. When the new window was ready, Tom & his team did a fantastic job. All members of Alure were very professional. They all worked diligently & respectfully, and arrived on time as scheduled. At the office Millie was very helpful in scheduling all appointments. It was a pleasure to do business with Alure. I had the misfortune of having water damage in my basement. My wife took that as an opportunity to remodel the basement. After speaking with several friends and contractors we decided to go with Alure after visiting one of their model basements. I initially thought the project to be pricey but after the job was completed I cannot say that I have any complaints. Steve Ingrassia sat down with my wife and me and went over the design and the project timeline. Everyone involved was especially patient and accommodating with my wife’s design changes. The work started on schedule and Keith the construction lead made sure I received regular status updates on the project. The crew was polite and made sure to clean up after themselves..

We are extremely thankful to Alure for the wonderful job they did replacing our siding. We were nervous going in as we had a very bad and costly experience with a previous contractor. Brian Chenis was very down to earth. Outside with us he was detailed in explaining everything that would be done. He also noticed that our front door that we had installed and had a problem with from day one, was improperly hung. He said that they would see what they could do with it. our house has a room that was apparently added on with a very strange door and window that we never could figure out. Brian discovered that the window had a latchkey and could be removed for ventilation and made suggestions about what to do with the door. He seemed to know his stuff. He spent quite some time answering our questions. Though we were still nervous we decided to take that leap of Faith and so glad we did. Our house had awnings on the front and one side of the house. It was great to go into the showroom and see images of our house with and without them. It also helped us to feel confident in what we had chosen. Mike Preston was the project manager, we never met him but appreciated that he and Brian always returned our calls promptly and were very patient. The crew worked diligently, were very professional and respectful. The Foreman(can’t recall his name) rehung the front door as Brian said. Our outside lights on the house were old and fell apart when taken down. They replaced the new ones we bought and mike even let them install one that wasn’t there originally. Some of our neighbors commented about the beautiful job done. The office called and informed us of an overpayment. I had forgotten about the initial deposit. We are grateful for the experience we had with everyone at Alure and will definitely use them again. May God Bless you all.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results of our recent kitchen & bathroom renovation projects with Alure.

Billy Coen (our salesman) is a seasoned, home improvement professional who gave us confidence that they would deliver quality, “on time” and “on budget”. I hereby confirm that Alure lived up to our expectations. Several of our friends said it could not be done in the promised time-frame and there are always budget overruns. Alure proved them wrong. Alure’s project manager, Fred Misurella visited our home quite frequently and ensured that the project was always on schedule. He was very knowledgeable
of our project and always provided a reasonable response to each of our questions. Fred continued to fine-tune the project as we went along. Similarly, Clare Shames and Patricia Tallini from the corporate office gave us daily updates of how the day went and what were the plans for the following day.

After interviewing five vendors, we knew we had saved the best for last. Billy Coen’s presentation convinced us to sign on his first visit, where we were not able to do that with the previous four contractors. He patiently addressed all of our concerns and tailored the renovation to our specifications. The workmen were efficient, skilled, friendly and respectful. As the project progressed, we became quite comfortable with leaving them in our home during our absence.

We strongly recommend Alure for their fine work and look forward to using them again for future home improvements.

There are no words to express how delighted we are with the work Alure has done with our home! We were in desperate need of new windows and exterior siding. From the moment Brian Chenis entered our home and explained the process we knew we were in the right hands. During the renovation, the project manager Mike Preston and Brian visited several times to assure that the project was progressing as planned. The crew who installed the windows, front door and siding were not only professional but made certain that there was no mess left behind each day. They were prompt, friendly and respectful of our privacy. (Thank you Tony!) Several days after the job completion, Hurricane Sandy arrived.We received a call from Mike to make sure everything was well. How many companies would even bother at that point? I also overpaid the job due to my poor accounting and received a check in the mail a few days later- all without my knowledge. I can only say that there is no question which company will be renovating my master bath next year. Thank you all for a job beautifully done !

Alure just completed a kitchen renovation in my home and both my husband and I are thrilled with the results. From the start Ken Gold helped us to see how to make our small kitchen not only functional but beautiful. As project manager Mark Donely was a total professional, he made sure everything was completed on time, was available to answer questions and to ensure that things were done properly. I had heard some horror stories regarding home renovations, so I was dreading this whole project but, I must say that from beginning to end, they made a major renovation as easy and organized as possible! When we decided to remodel the outside of our home earlier this year, we got the obligatory 3 or more estimates from various home improvement companies. Although a couple of them did spend some time with us to discuss our ideas and wishes regarding the remodel, it was Alure’s Sales Agent, Bob Sansivero, that made such a great impression on us that it was difficult to look any further. Bob spent the time discussing everything we needed to know about our remodeling project which included a new roof, reconstructed front portico with columns, and complete siding all around. He brought with him different samples of the materials Alure uses and explained the differences among them so we could better make our decision. He answered every question we threw at him and by the time he left our house, we felt clearly more educated about the project we were undertaking. BTW his estimate for the complete job was somewhere in the middle of all the estimates we received. For the project, Michael Preston was assigned as our project manager, and we could not have asked for a more thorough and professional PM. He made sure we were happy during each step of the project and wouldn’t proceed unless we were completely satisfied. We also must send thanks and kudos to all of Alure’s crews who did a fantastic job as well as some other companies we used on the recommendation of Alure. They were all a pleasure to deal with and we are very happy with the result. The job was completed during the Summer, 2012 to our great satisfaction. It is now December 2012, post Superstorm Sandy and we have to say that not even a roofing shingle was lost. The workmanship is first rate and Alure lived up to it’s reputation. We moved into our home a little over a year ago and had used Alure to replace 10+ windows. We had originally heard about Alure through the “Best of Long Island” reviews and also from a new neighbor/ex-co-worker. We had a great experience, from beginning to end, in getting new windows with Alure. So, when it came time to renovate our kitchen, we looked no where else but Alure due in part to our first experience and also their reputation. Eric Bove, was our “salesperson” and our first point of contact. He was courteous, friendly, outgoing, patient and accommodating. As in any renovation project, there were a few “bumps in the road” to the completion of our kitchen renovation project e.g. inaccurate cabinet measurements resulting in new cabinet orders/increased wait time and delay of project completion due to Hurricane Sandy. Even with these bumps in the road, all sides remained flexible and service-oriented.

I would especially like to commend Rich and his partner (sorry, I forget his name) and Paul Charlton, Production Supervisor. Rich and his partner were a pleasure to have around my home, or rather my kitchen. It was also a pleasure to work with Paul. From beginning to end of project, Paul gave me constant updates on the progress of the renovations. I could always rely on Paul to follow-up with me in a timely manner and to follow-through with the details. In the few weeks they were working in my home, Rich, his partner and Paul presented to be hard-working, kind, sincere, conscientious, trustworthy and professional.

The gentlemen from Gerarti (sp?) Electrical were also professional and conscientious. As were the gentlemen who came to affix the backsplash.

My family and I are enjoying our new kitchen. It’s beautiful. We would definitely chose Alure for future improvements to our home.

Thank you seem inadequate when I look at the two new bathrooms Alure renovated for us. These bathrooms looked liked a throwback to the 1980′s, yet Matt and Ivan were professional, speedy and exceptionally courtious. They finished the powder room the day before Thanksgiving and the main bathroom the next Friday. They put down drop cloths over all the rugs and stairs and vacuumed the rooms ater they were done each day. I had previously used Alure for their basement system and now, after my experience with them doing my bathrooms I have already scheduled them to replace all the windows in the house as well as replacing the front and patio doors. If you are looking for a contractor to replace a bathroom, window, add a sun room or build an entire house, you can’t go wrong with Alure.

We recently renovated our kitchen. Alure’s 10-day kitchen is an extremely well run system. Ken Gold was fabulous at helping us design our kitchen for our needs. During the construction phase, Mark Donnelly made sure that everything went well. Mark always made sure that we were happy with everything every step of the way. Everyone that took part in the renovation were polite and very efficient. Patricia was great at giving us a call at the end of the day to let us know what would be happening the next day. Very happy with Alure from beginning to end. We have a fabulous kitchen. Looking forward to working with Alure on another project.

We are just waiting for a few final touches on our kitchen renovation but already are thrilled with how everything has turned out. Our sales rep Rich Reese listened carefully to our design ideas and guided us right to the materials that would achieve the look we wanted. He also had ideas on ways to make out kitchen function better which we are so pleased with. I recently used the Handyman Services from Alure Home Improvements to replace the walls and floor of my kitchen. I also had the floor, commode and sink replaced in my half-bath. I felt confident with Alure because I had an Alure/Owens Corning basement installed in 2009.
Hubie vanMeurs, from Sales, came at my convenience and thoroughly explained my options. He had all the samples with him. I took my time choosing and we planned the project around my schedule.
Paul Charlton, the Project Manager, was very thorough as well. He came before the work started to review the project with me. He also came each day to supervise, explain the next steps and to make sure that I was happy with the progress.
I was very pleased to have Juan and Rene return! They installed my basement!
Everything was organized. The workers were prompt, courteous, artistic, clean and quiet. I am very happy with my new kitchen/lav!

I want to share this positive experience that I had with Alure Designs from Long Island. I had a problem with a medicine cabinet; I contacted Billy Coen from Alure Designs. He quickly contacted their service department and Cathy Biggers reached out to me to help resolve the issue. Thank goodness we elected to have Alure install our new kitchen. It started with a visit from Billy Coen for a free consult. His presentation, patience and expertise convinced us to go with Alure. He handed the job over to Fred and Mr. Salvik who held our hand from start to finish. This was not our first project in our home but was the best in terms of workmanship and scheduling. We had our kitchen done 3 years ago, Allure did an excellentjob. Allure stands by their name, we noticed we had some uplifting on some of our cabinets, we calle allure they sent over Jimmy Aguilar to check out the situation and he was excellent. Understood the problem, saw it looked it and replaced all cabints that needed to be without a problem. He’s a very nice person and was very, very helpful. He was on the ball. Ordered the cabinets gave me a roundabout date that they would be in and came and replaced them with no problem. Allure is very lucky to have such a nice person working for them and knows what he’s doing. I would use allure in a heartbeat again. Great experience all the way around.

We are Alure fans! We have had several home projects completed by them, including the renovation of two bathrooms, one deck and the installation of two a/c splits. Anyone of these projects could have been a nightmare, but Alure majors in providing peace of mind to their customers throughout each step of the process. Their project managers are extremely responsive and care about the customer’s full satisfaction. The workers sent by Alure are professional, pleasant and careful as possible with the rest of the house. The projects are completed in a timely fashion with an attention to detail and best of all, any problems cited at any time are corrected without hesitation. They just want you to be HAPPY! What a concept!! Alure’s prices are reasonable for the quality of the products used and the workmanship provided. I recently had a 5 day bathroom done by Alure, and 5 days it was. The process from the sale to the install was seamless. From the first day of the dumpster delivery to the last day of construction I did not have to do a thing. It was all handled by Alures amazing Team of Rich and Emilio. Rich was on the ball from his sales method to his creative design skills. It was a pleasure to work with him. He took his time to explain the process and his experience with designing the space with the materials from the showroom “to go” was just outstanding. Then there was Emilio the Project Manager, he showed extensive construction experience and always answered the phone any time I had a question. He was on top of the project and updated me daily. Rich and Emilio really went out of their way to make sure I was a happy customer. I was also very pleased with the Alure electrician Tim.

Recently we had our basement refinished. It was wonderful to work with a reputable company you can trust! From the first meeting with our Design Consult, Gregory Griffin “Greg”, we knew we had to go with Alure for our project. Somehow the words “Thank you” do not seem to express how grateful I am to my basement design specialist Mike Gatto and the entire Alure team for making such a profound difference in my families home and our lives.
There was never a question for us as to which basement system we wanted for our home.
We had done our reasearch and knew that the Owenings Corning product was far superior to anything else on the market today, and environmental safety for our family was and is paramount. What we did not expect was that we would have the good fortune to work with a company like Alure. This company is amazing not only did they deliver everything they promised and more, but they have become like a second family to us. The people at Alure really do care, and this is a fact.
My basement is 3 years old and looks as new as the day we got it. Our design specialist Mike Gatto stays in touch with us to make sure that we have no issues and to make sure we are just as satisfied with our purchase today as we were years ago when we first bought it, which is unheard of in this environment.
I would not hesitate to recommend Alure and and the Owenings Corning basement system to anyone. This basement has paid for itself 10 times over, and I am so fortunate to have it in my home.

Alure built our sunroom and it is now our favorite spot. Our designer Greg listened to what we wanted and developed a plan that worked. RJ the builder arrived early and worked steadily each day.

I had a 20 yr. old bathroom and when Ron Marder came to my rescue!Our new bathroom is just wonderful! We love it. Ron came in with his wonderful bag off tricks and we chose all the products fom his samples in the comfort of our home! No shopping round to many stores running, running. From the first steps to the completed bathroom, we had the most professional, knowledgeable staff. Everyone….salesman, job managers and workmen were wonderful. We will use them in the future!

We had been planning to renovate our bathroom for a long time. The horror stories one hears about contractors was one of the main reasons why we kept putting it off. That was until Billy from Alure walked into our kitchen and sat with us for 3 hours and helped us design our new bathroom. He had cases of countertop, tile and cabinet samples, along with photographs and it made the selection process an absolute breeze. The job was started and each day a call would come from the head office advising us as to what was being done and who would be there on that day-how impressive is that!! Fred who supervised the job was in and out to ensure that what was planned for that day took place. Joanne from their billing department was a real gem in working with me re the payments. A “wrinkle” developed when the countertop was installed, in that it had a dark smudge across the front.We were told that since the stone is natural, these large “spots” sometimes happen. We sent an E mail to Billy and Fred about the problem that evening, and the next morning, both Patricia and Clare from their office were on the phone arranging for John to stop by and take a look, which he did that same day. Within 3 days, we had a new countertop, and they sent 2 guys to work overtime on a Friday night to finish that job. John’s words to me were “we want you to be happy.” In this day and age, when service is no where to be found, how often do you hear a comment like that? In my opinion, this is the only way to go when renovating. With the help of Alure, we created a new bathroom with fixtures,cabinets,bath, toilet,sinks, counter tops,and light fixtures, all without having to step outside our home. Alure also provides a 5 year warranty on everything, which is an added plus. We love our bathroom, and we get so many compliments on it. I can’t say enough about the Alure people, and frankly, now that we have had such a positive experience with them, I would never use anyone else.

Our sales representative Bob Sansivero helped us to design a beautiful front porch which had been a 12 year dream for us since buying our cape cod home. Bob’s expertise with exterior products along with Omar’s computer imaging helped us to create a beautiful front porch. That along with a new roof and rear siding truly made our home look brand new! Bob was really patient with all the decision making we needed to do. Mike our project manager overlooked and coordinated the project keeping us abreast of scheduling, supply deliveries, etc. He also assisted us with product selection. Our carpentry team led by foreman Ray were a pleasure to work with. Other team members were also knowledgeable and helpful like the roofing supervisor (sorry fogetting his name right this moment). Mufaso did a great job on the gutters, so they did not detract from the pretty porch. I am truly happy that we used Alure for this project. I have gotten many compliments from our neighbors and friends. Most importantly when I walk up to my house everyday I say to myself., “Wow i cannot believe this is my house!” Now I just have to squeeze in more time to sit outside more & enjoy it!

From the moment Rich entered our home we knew this was the company to use. He put us right at ease and knew exactly what direction to head us in. We had a green 1970′s tiled bathroom and now we have luxurious bathroom with cherrywood cabinets and beautiful tiles and countertop….thank you Rich you are awesome!
Also our project manager Emilio and the crew, Greg and Robert were the best. They took good care of us and were even done a day earlier then anticipated. Which was a bonus for my 84 yr old father.
Using Alure was one of our easiest and best decisions we have made and would certainly use them again for any future renovations.

My wife and I have been intending for some time to express our great satisfaction for the work Alure did in the bathroom attached to the master bedroom last month. The shower in that bathroom was completely redone and a few other changes were made in the bathroom. Each and every aspect of the work done by Alure was fine.

When the planner, Mr. Ortega, came to our home, we found him courteous and very well organized. He understood what we wanted to do and discussed with doing a less costly job. On his laptop, he was able to show us how the shower might look as well as the various alternative styles and covers.

The job was done for Alure by a number of different workmen, who included an electrician, a plumber and the men who tore down the old tile work and installed the new tiles. Each of the men who came was prompt, courteous, pleasant and did their work efficiently. The work was done on schedule without “surprises” (no delays; no unexpected costs). Further, I do not think that we have ever had workmen in the house who cleaned up as well after their work.

Finally, we were also very pleased with the work of Mr. Charlton, the supervisor. Mr. Charlton was in our home before, during and after the work was done. He was friendly, answered questions readily and saw to it that the work was done very well.

Today, as a month ago, we find the new shower handsome and problem-free.
We both have been very impressed by the work Alure did and would have no reservations about using Alure again.
